They are then screened for their “soft” skills, including personality, accomplishments, and potential for growth, interpersonal skills and conceptual skills. We inquire regarding their desired work location, preferred hours, financial expectations and computer knowledge.

As businesses become more reliant on computers, candidates’ computer skills are crucial. We need to assure ourselves that all candidates have the necessary skills to perform to our client’s satisfaction.
We have capabilities with our specialized software to evaluate candidates on all major application software, as well as keyboarding skills. With this software, we are able to designate an applicant’s skills as basic, intermediate or advanced and fill our clients’ positions with the right candidate for the job.
Some of the evaluation software we use includes QUIZ and the Comprehensive Personality Profile (CPP).
QUIZ tests the hands-on knowledge of a variety of software as well as general accounting principles. The CPP focus more on personality profiles and can identify the strengths and weaknesses of a candidate, which can be applied to a specific type of position.
InterviewingUpon successful completion of our evaluations, candidates are interviewed to assess their suitability. Prior work history is explored to determine the experience and exposure to the different facets of the job. Reasons for leaving previous jobs are discussed as well as short and long term career goals. The interview provides us with a good insight into the candidate and their suitability for any particular position.
